Each unit is also prewired for solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations, should you choose to add those components.
Nest Thermostats
All of the units will have Nest Thermostats installed. This self-adjusting and intuitive technology learns your preferences and daily routines, adapting and building a schedule around yours. It can sense when you’re gone, and shifts into energy-saving “Auto-away” mode. You can adjust the temperature on the easy-to-use display, or through an app your smartphone. These features have saved homeowners up to 20% on their heating and cooling bill, and have saved over 8 billion kWh of energy worldwide since this product launched in 2011. Its intuitive features keep you comfortable, even in San Diego heat waves, but also know how to best help you save energy. Alongside the Amazon Echo or Google Home, this appliance can be voice activated!

The Guild is being developed as a joint venture between McNamara Ventures (www.mcnamaraventures.com) and Agora Partners (www.agorapartners.com). Keegan McNamara, Principal of McNamara Ventures, and Howard Kozloff, the Principal at Agora Partners, met through the Urban Land Institute (www.uli.org) and have formed a close partnership. Keegan McNamara is passionate about urban infill and the tenets of Smart Growth (www.smartgrowth.org) and is focused on developing small-scale, high density residential and mixed use projects in San Diego County.
